About Pat
Pat is a woodwind musician with 38 years of experience. He has been classically trained, has studied under such phenominal professionals such as Tim Bell, and Tony Pagano. Pat has received high praise in the Milwaukee Journal and other southeastern Wisconsin newspapers and journals.
Also Pat also has received very complimentary comments from such artists as Barb Stephan, Ellen Winters, Ken Kottke (owner, Swing Nouveau), Jerry Becker (owner, Mr. Lucky Syndicate.
Pat plays Jazz, Rock, and Classical with ensembles ranging from duo to large orchestra. Pat also has done significant studio performances and appearances at high schools and colleges as a clinician.
Pat beleives it is important to have your own sound but also to convey that within the context of the tune. In other words Coltranesce solos are probably not appropriate during 'In The Mood' at a commercial swing dance. Be yourself but remember the audience. (Pat has a business admin. degree but studied music and philosophy concurrently in the '70s.)
